The common cold (chest cold & head cold) & seasonal flu are both caused by viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs with symptoms varying from a runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, headache, achy body, & sore throat. Thankfully, there are many essential oils that not only help with the pain, but also reduce the risk of secondary bacterial infections that can lead to bronchitis, earache (otitis), tonsillitis, and sinusitis. This blend should be used at the first sign of symptoms along with the synergy to stimulate the bodies immune system to fight off the current infection & reduce further infections.
Synergy: Add 1 - 3 drops to a bowl of hot water. Make a tent over your head and bowl with a towel. Breathe in deeply for 15-20 minutes. Caution: Always keep eyes closed as essential oils can burn the eyes.
Blend: Massage externally to nose, throat, and around ears 2 - 3 times per day.
