INHALATION: Inhale directly from the bottle to help stimulate the mind and when dealing with upper & lower respiratory conditions.
STEAM INHALATION: Add 2 - 3 drops of essential oil to a steam filled bowl. Cover your head and the bowl with a towel and inhale for 20 minutes. Keep EYES CLOSED to prevent oils from burning the eyes. This is great for upper and lower respiratory conditions.
TOPICAL APPLICATION: Dilute 5 - 6 drops of essential oil to 1 oz carrier (1%) for fully body massage, skin care and with the elderly and children 3 - 5 years of age, max 0.5% or 2 - 3 drops per 1 oz carrier for children 3 and younger. Add up to 30 drop EO to 1 oz carrier (5%) for local application due to upper/lower respiratory conditions.
DIFFUSER: Add a few drops to a diffuse to help disinfect the air. Great when combined with Sweet Orange and Lavender. Take care when diffusing around animals. Always leave a door open so they can leave the area. Can be diffused for children under 3 years of age.
BATH: Not recommended. Instead, use while in the shower. Add a few drops to the standing water and inhale the molecules dispersed into the steamy air. This will help open your sinuses and energize you for the day.
CAUTION:
*Maximum dermal use 20%. Dilute max 100 - 120 drops in 1 oz carrier prior to skin application.
*Non-toxic, non-irritating.
*CHILDREN: 1,8-cineole can cause CNS & breathing problems in young children. Safe to diffuse with children 3 years and younger and applied topically at up to 0.5%. Safe for children 3 - 6 years when applied topically at 1% (5 - 6 drops in 1 oz carrier).
