INHALATION: Inhale directly from the bottle when used for the mind & spirit or when dealing with upper & lower respiratory conditions.

STEAM INHALATION: Add 2 - 3 drops of essential oil to a steam filled bowl.  Cover your head and the bowl with a towel and inhale for 20 minutes.  Keep EYES CLOSED to prevent oils from burning the eyes.  This is great for upper and lower respiratory conditions.

TOPICAL APPLICATION: Dilute 5 - 6 drops of essential oil to 1 oz carrier (1%) for fully body massage, skin care, with children 2 - 6 years old, and with the elderly.  Add up to 30 drop EO to 1 oz carrier (4%) for body related issues.

DIFFUSER: Add a few drops to a diffuser to help disinfect the air or when needing a mental boost while studying or traveling.  Take care when diffusing around animals.  Always leave a door open so they can leave the area.

BATH: Not recommended due to skin irritating effect.  Instead, use while in the shower.  Add a few drops to the standing water and inhale the molecules dispersed into the steamy air.  This will help open your sinuses and energize you for the day.

*CHILDREN: 1,8-cineole may cause CNS & breathing problems in young children. Safe to diffuse with children 3 years and younger and applied topically at up to 0.5%. Safe for children 3 - 6 years when applied topically at 1% (5 - 6 drops in 1 oz carrier).
*Care must be taken when using oils high in 1,8-cineole with asthmatic individuals as it is possible to set off an attack.
*Camphor rich oils should be avoided during pregnancy, may be neurotoxic and should not be applied into or near the noses or on the faces of children and infants, as it can lead to respiratory collapse.
*NOT FOR INTERNAL USE: can cause convulsions.
*Irritation may occur with oxidized oils 4 years and older.
*Always test a small patch on skin first for sensitivity or allergic reaction.
*People with epilepsy should avoid using a maximum dilution rate of 16% in carrier oil. (*Robert Tisserand)
