 About St. John's Wort:
The most well known action of St. John's wort is in repairing nerve damage and reducing pain and inflammation. The herb has been used to relieve menstrual cramping, sciatica, and arthritis. Externally it is used on cuts as a disinfectant and to relieve inflammation and promote healing. The oil can be applied to sprains, bruises and varicose veins. St. John’s Wort has been traditionally used as a skin nourishment and to promote recovery of skin and mucous injuries. It helps combat bacterial infections, reverse inflammation, and also reduce skin itching and irritability. Best used @ 20% in a carrier blend.

Caution: Undiluted St. Johns Wort oil applied to skin exposed to UV light (sun) has caused skin irritation. Always test a small amount for skin sensitivity or dilute 20% in a jojoba or like carrier.
