The Romans named this planet after “The Messenger of the Gods’’, because it has the fastest orbit around the sun. Bonus mythological tidbit: Mercury is the Roman interpretation of the Greek God Hermes! With Mercury, there is a swiftness, a cutting current of wind energy associated with this planetary force. This beautifully coincides with the energy of FLUORITE, whom we are showcasing this week.
For those familiar with tarot, “Fluorite is the stone which most clearly emanates the Swords energy” (R. Simmons, Book of Stones, 2005). In the mineral kingdom, Fluorite is the stone of order.
