What’s the purpose of Smudge?  

Smudging is a traditional way of moving unwanted energies from yourself, a room, your home, or from items which have come into contacted with energies that are not serving.  Smudging can also be done to bring in positive energies especially when done in a space where healing and manifesting are done.

How to Smudge a Room or Whole House

Stand in the room and connect to the energies within, set your intention and give deep gratitude and thanks to the plant being used.  Open a window.  Follow the To Use instructions below for lighting instructions.  Once the bundle begins releasing smoke, go from one corner to the next while visually and energetically directing the smoke plus energies out the open window.  Ask that all things not of highest good be released.  When complete, shut the window and burn either Sweet Grass or Palo Santo to fill the space with love and high vibration energy.  Resins can also be used in this way.  

How to Smudge Yourself & Others

Follow the To Use instructions below for lighting instructions.  Once the bundle begins releasing smoke, pass the bundle back and forth either from feet to head or head to feet.  You can also twirl your body in a circle as you slowing draw the bundle up so the smoke clears energy from your entire aura.

How to Smudge Stone & Other Objects

Follow the To Use instructions below for lighting instructions.  Once the bundle begins releasing smoke, pass the item through the smoke several times and visualize unwanted energies being released.
