WHAT ARE THESE HERBS USED FOR?

Marshmallow ~ soothes, protects, and moistens an inflamed respiratory system
Cherry Bark ~ helps to loosen mucus from the respiratory system
Linden ~ fever reducing, demulcent, alleviates cough, reduces sore throat
Mullein ~ anti-inflammatory, soothes lung irritation, expectorant
Plantain ~ anti-inflammatory, soothes irritated airways, expectorant
Peppermint ~ anti-inflammatory, demulcent, soothes irritated airway

Demulcents help thin and liquefy mucus in the respiratory tract, and expectorants help to facilitate the elimination of mucus.

 STEEPING SUGGESTIONS:  

SINGLE CUP: 1 TBLS TEA | 8 FL OZ BOILING WATER | STEEP COVERED 30-60 MINUTES

~Strain and cool to 105* before adding raw local honey. Re-steep several times before using new tea. 

BATCH:  4 TBLS TEA | 32 FL OZ WATER | SIMMER COVERED 30 - 60 MIN OR LONGER

~Combine all ingredients in a pot on the stove.  Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.  You can also add tea to a quart-size mason jar, fill to the top with just boiled water, and steep at least 30 minutes or overnight.

~Strain and add honey.  Store tea in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
