Pain Relieving ~ Relax Muscular Tension
Migraines are commonly triggered by external factors such as emotional stress, food based chemicals & preservatives (MSG), caffeine, cheese, chocolate and red wine, weather change, menstrual periods, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, hypertension, and changes in sleep pattern. During these stressful periods, nerve cells found in the brain stimulate the release of certain chemicals that cause blood vessels to expand and contract and muscles to become tense. Symptoms may include throbbing headache, light sensitivity, nausea, fatigue, blurred vision and more. With aromatherapy, essential oils have been shown to relieve pain, calm neuro-muscular tension and relax muscular tension.
