How to make Sea Moss Gel
Quart Size Ball Jar: Rinse 1.5 oz dried sea moss in a large bowl or cold filtered water. Use you hands to break up large clumps. Drain. Squeeze a 1/2 a lime over moss then rinse again. Rinse a third time, if you desire. Drain. Add the 1/2 squeezed lime to the moss and squeeze the 2nd half over the moss. Cover moss with filtered water about 2 inches above and let soak for 12-24 hours. The moss should be fully hydrated, full and soft. Rinse and place hydrated moss plus desired amount of water into a blender. Blend until gelled. Place in a ball jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Add to smoothies
